Dr. Zahir Basrai
Overview
Dr. Zahir Basrai is an emergency medicine (EM) physician based out of Los Angeles, California and an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He completed his EM residency at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center where he served as chief resident during his final year. After residency, Dr. Basrai completed a fellowship in emergency ultrasound. He currently serves on several VA national committees and has helped develop policies and procedures that are being deployed across the VA system. He serves as a board of director for the California Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians. Dr. Basrai completed his undergraduate degree in Bioengineering at the University of California, San Diego.
